I, too, was/am a fan of Meet the Press. Tim's death caught me, and all of us, by surprise. I spent that week after June 13 watching all the reports, interviews, etc. and quite frankly, shedding some heartfelt tears for this outstanding journalist, father, husband and just good guy. I think his death confirmed the unexpected we all face in life...and how caring about others and helping them succeed...often makes a difference that may not be stated until, well, his death.

I also appreciated the two book recommendations on greatness and PowerPoint...will find both and read them.

AND - I am public relations professional who has spent about 25+ years in the business, beginning as a journalist with a stint as a food editor and features writer at a suburban newspaper. I truly enjoy this blog and will keep following the info.

Thanks, Leo.

Joyce LofstromAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
